BondedByPaw ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from bondedbypaw.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Order information. When you place an order, you give us your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, the items you ordered, and any personalization details (such as a dog's name, when applicable).
Payment information. Card details are entered directly on Shopify's hosted checkout and processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Device and usage data. Like most websites, we (and our analytics providers) automatically log your IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages viewed, and time on site.
Cookies and similar tracking. See our Cookie Policy.
Communications. If you email us or sign up for our list, we keep that message and the email address you provided.

How we use it

To process and fulfill your orders.
To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your support emails.
To send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe with one click from any marketing email.
To measure how the site is used and improve it.
To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
To comply with legal obligations such as tax records and accounting.

Who we share it with

We only share what's necessary for the service:

Shopify Inc. — hosts our store and processes orders. Shopify privacy policy.
Printify Inc. and its print partners — receive your shipping address and order details to produce and ship your item. Printify privacy policy.
Payment processors (Shopify Payments / Stripe, PayPal if enabled) — process your payment.
Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel where enabled) — measure aggregate site usage.
Email providers (Shopify Email or successor) — send transactional and, if you opted in, marketing emails.
Law enforcement or government — only when legally required, such as a subpoena or court order.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

International transfers

Our service providers are based in the United States and other countries. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in the United States.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you.
Request a copy of that information.
Ask us to correct or delete it.
Opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link in every marketing email).
Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising, but you can confirm or update this preference at any time.

California residents have the rights described above. You also have the right to non-discrimination for exercising them. Categories of personal information we collect are listed under "What we collect."

European Economic Area / United Kingdom

Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), legitimate interests (running and improving the site), legal obligation (tax records), and consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies).

How long we keep it

Order records: 7 years (tax and accounting).
Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Support emails: 3 years after last contact.
Analytics: per the provider's defaults (Google Analytics 4 is set to 14 months by default unless you ask us otherwise).

Security

Payment processing happens entirely on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure. We protect our administrative access with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure — if there is a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. The current version always lives at /pages/privacy-policy.
